Spirit-Led Compass - Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photography Inspirational Prophetic Images by Josiah Christian Friberg


God is Love and Omniscient; therefore, let His Spirit be your compass to guide you through this earthly voyage we call "life".

I've always had a fascination with compasses. I learned how to use them in the boy scouts and when I first learned how to sail and navigate the Maine coast. This photograph speaks to me of keeping my eyes focused on the compass when out sailing, which is another way of saying, "Fixing my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of my faith..." Jesus guides me in this life by His Spirit that He has put inside of me. I seek not to be led by my own understanding, but rather, to be led by the Spirit of God, for this is how the sons of God are led in this life.

It's amazing what you find when you start looking more closely at nature. I found this on a college campus. Most people just walked right past without even noticing it. As the famous poem states, "Take time to smell the roses."
