Eyes of Wonder - Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photography Inspirational Prophetic Images by Josiah Christian Friberg

I just love the sense of WONDER in my son's eyes in this photograph. Wonder is truly a gift of God that too often we lose track of as we grow up. Having children often reminds me to "stop and smell the roses" as I go busily through life's play.

Children's Passion for Life - Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photography Inspirational Prophetic Images by Josiah Christian Friberg

Here are two of my kids running around the wood pile enjoying being outdoors. This was going to just be a nice family photograph, but when I got it into the computer, I saw much more than what I expected. When I look at this photograph, I see the passion for life and fun that children are so full of and that I'd like to recapture some of myself.

Gift Child - Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photography & Inspirational Prophetic Images by Josiah Christian Friberg

"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward." Ps 127:3

Photograph of my precious son who truly is a gift from the Lord and a very great reward to me. The blurred movement conveys to me the spirit of the child that is pleasing to God, as well as symbolic of a boy who's constantly on the move enjoying life, discovery, and adventure.

Blessed Children - Inspirational Photography & Fine Art Landscapes by Josiah Christian Friberg

I am so thankful to God and my wife for my precious . Here are my two youngest out for a walk in the fresh air up on the in North Carolina. I ran ahead of them, set up my tripod, and then waited for them to come around the corner. I wanted to get an action shot because I'm getting tired of posed photos. I was happy with the result as they came walking around the corner hand-in-hand with their beautiful mother. You may have heard the hymn, "Count your many blessings, name them one by one." Well, here are three of my biggest blessings, with one missing. I hope this image and inspires you to count your many blessings and to name them one by one.

A Wise Son - Christian Fine Art Inspirational Photography by Josiah Friberg

"He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him." - Proverbs 13:24

"A wise son heeds his father's instruction..." - Proverbs 13:1

This image of my son speaks of the importance of training and discipling our children. The above scriptures teach the wisdom that we need today to properly raise our children. Because I love my son, I am careful to discipline him and train him to heed his father's instruction. I believe the wisdom found in these proverbs will help keep our on the path of life. by of , North Carolina.

Becoming Like Children - Christian Fine Art Inspirational Photography by Josiah Friberg

"Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Jesus [Matthew 18:4]

This black and white image was taken with natural diffused window light in my basement. I like this because of the humble child-like look on the child's face. What is it about that we are called to emulate? I believe it is their humility, which speaks to me of their ability to be teachable, to believe and trust easily, to forgive quickly and easily, and their ability to be themselves without guile or hypocrisy.
