Here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, we had our first ice storm this year. The night before was a long cold night of freezing rain, followed by the build up of ice on everything! Every tree, branch, twig, and blade of grass was covered with ice by morning. Weak trees and limbs were down everywhere. Nevertheless, I took my camera with me and stopped all along the way photographing the beauty of the ice. I came upon this field that was literally covered in ice. It was so beautiful, I just had to capture it.
Thank you for visiting this Fine Art gallery of Nature Photography, Landscape Photography, Portrait Photography, Inspirational Photography, and Prophetic Images, by Blue Ridge Photographic Society of North Carolina photographer, Josiah Christian Friberg, of Moravian Falls, NC.
